So, yes, I've slacked in posting blogs but that will change this year. I am making it a point to write again. I miss it. I'll start with this blog, but want to write stories again. Once I find an awesome notepad/book and pen, it's on :)
A lot has happened over the last few months since I last wrote. I took a huge step in trying to be a better person. I finally met Mike's girlfriend, Emily. We met up at Starbucks and put everything out and turns out she's a great person and I'm really happy for Mike. I thought maybe that would be the last of our encounters til a family event with the monkeys, but turns out we've talked quite a bit. People think I'm crazy, but I'm glad we did it and can be friends.
I went to see Breaking Dawn at midnight when it came out, but I saw Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse in the theatre, so 11 hours was A LOT lol
Around that time I was talking to a guy named Matt. Things were just casual and friendy, as there were things keeping me from taking it any further. However, one night I had this incredible urge to meet him. I don't know why, but I'm learning to just trust in myself and go with it. We met at Brixx Pizza and talked for a few hours. And the next a few weeks were a whirlwind. Constantly testing, talking, and asking questions. It's crazy, but he knows me more than Mike ever did and we still keep learning about each other. We've been dating alittle over a month and I've never been happier.
Most people who know me know that I would have ran faster than I don't know what, if I had found out from any other guy that he couldn't have kids and more than likely doesn't ever want to get married again. But for some reasons unknown to even myself, that doesn't bother me in the least little bit. I'm just living in the moment and I'm very happy where I am.
He's funny, so sweet, has a career, his own car, he cares about my feelings, and is just a great guy. :) my Baloo is pretty awesome.
We've spent Thanksgiving, his 30th bday, Christmas Eve and morning, and New Years together. And we are both taking a few days off in a few weeks for my birthday. I cannot wait :)
I've got Sunday dinner to attend, but I'll write more later.
